Thursday in the Park

A group of families from Trinity Fellowship and Sunshine School will be gathering throughout the summer at various parks in the Portland area on Thursdays.  This Thursday (tomorrow, 6/27) the group will be at Creston Park on 44th and Powell from 10am-1pm.  Bring a picnic lunch for your family to enjoy!  Come and go as you please and feel free to invite friends.  For more info contact Amber Huwe (Sunshine parent) at amhuwe@gmail.com or 503-260-9998.

Concerts in the Park

Sunshine School is sponsoring the Mt. Tabor Concert Series! Concerts will be held on Tuesdays in July (the 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd, and 30^th) at Mt. Tabor Park at 6:30 pm. Come hear some local musicians, and be sure to stop by our Sunshine School display to say hi!

  

Summer Closures

Sunshine School will be CLOSED on the following days this summer:

·        Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day

·        Monday, August 26- Friday, August 30 for Teacher Planning

·        Monday, September 2 for Labor Day

The 2013-2014 school year will begin on Tuesday, September 3. If you plan to make any changes to your student’s fall schedule, please contact the office.

Preschool Hike to Mt. Tabor Park

Summer is here, and our preschool classes are taking their first hike to Mt. Tabor Park this week! Please have your preschooler here by 9:30 am on Thursday, June 20th, and be sure he or she wears good walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing! We'll eat a quick snack, then head out on our hike to Mt. Tabor Park. After we play for a while, we'll return to school for lunch. 

If your preschooler does not normally attend on Thursdays, but would like to join us for this event, you're in luck! Extra students are welcome if accompanied by a parent.
