CookingThyme

I feel a little bit silly promoting my own business that doesn't have anything to do with Sunshine School, but I thought some of you might be interested.  About 2 years ago, my mom, sister and I started a business called CookingThyme.  We teach cooking classes for children and adults.  We have just launched a new website and blog this week which allows for online registration for all of our classes.

Some of our favorite and most popular classes are the Mommy & Me Classes for 3-6 year old.  These classes are on the first Saturday of each month.  Coming up in March we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' Birthday!  We also have some fun classes for Valentine's Day and President's Day for kids ages 6-12.

This fall we launched our adult cooking classes and cooking clubs.  We offer several individual classes each month as well two cooking clubs.  The Supper Club is starting Wednesday, February 23rd and will run once a month (the last Wednesday of the month) for 6 months.  First Tuesday Cooking Club is the same thing on a different day and will begin April 5th.  We took the idea of book and wine clubs and applied it to cooking.  At the end of the series, participants have 6 complete menus to add to their repertoire and hopefully some new friends.

I would like to invite you to check out our new website and blog.  If you are interested in adding your email address to our mailing list, let me know.  We are trying to get the word out about CookingThyme, so please pass this along to any friends you think might be interested.
