 Morning Music Time has Moved!

We have moved the Preschool Morning Music Time to 8:30. If you are planning to drop off your child during music time, it will be 15 minutes earlier than before. This means that each class will begin circle time at 8:45, so please try to have your children at school by 8:45 so they can participate in their class circle time.

Note: This is a schedule change from what is written in your parent handbook.

Community Event: Zenger Farms Harvest Festival



This should be a fun family event if your looking fun and free activity to do with your kids.  Zenger Farms (11741 SE Foster Road, just west of 122nd) is having a Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 10th from 1-7pm. 

"Farm fun for the whole family!  Celebrate the harvest season with farm tours, fun activities and displays.  Learn about honey bees, chickens, worm composting and more!  Get sticky harvesting honey and get dirty playing farm games.  Food for sale or bring your own picnic.  Produce, honey and farm goods for sale." 

Office Mailbox

Our hallway is FINALLY finished! New bulletin boards have been hung outside of each classroom, ready to be filled with student art work this fall.  I wanted to draw your attention to the new mailbox that is now hanging outside the Sunshine Office.  Please use this to drop off payments when the office is closed.  There are envelopes inside for your use.

Back to School BBQ & Open House

For families who will be here this Fall, mark your calendars for our Back to School BBQ & Open House! Come by to enjoy some dinner, visit with your child's teacher, meet other families, and have a look around the school!

Infant and Wobbler Newsletter

News from the Lamb's Fold

In the Infant Room, Sam and Ivy have started crawling! Way to go!

In the Wobbler Room, the kids have been getting outside as much as the weather allows. On sunny days, they've been having fun in the water, and they've even been taking nature walks outside.

For the summer, the Wobblers have been learning about sun safety. They have also been talking a lot about where things come from. They've learned that apples come from trees, yogurt comes from cows, and much more.

Reminder:

Please be sure that you are bringing a blanket for your child to sleep with, and be sure to bring it home at the end of each week to wash. This helps us make nap time a cozy and clean time for your kids.
